Bram Reinders studied Computer Science and holds an Executive MBA from Purdue University (U.S.). His professional career focuses on developing and implementing emerging technologies in the U.S. and Europe. Bram is currently developing and implementing smart metering and smart grid infrastructures for DSO Alliander in the Netherlands. Achieving the Alliander vision of rolling out smart meters by 2020 and smartening the grid between now and 2050 requires governments, research organisations, industry, the financial sector and international organisations to work together. Bram’s role is to establish relevant partnerships for Alliander by aligning with European technology providers, colleague utilities, government, regulators, universities, consumer organizations and the European Commission.
